There are many great lessons from my math struggles. Like so many people, I have a rocky history with this subject. But, through overcoming those struggles, I learned to appreciate the nuances of specialized instruction. And, I experienced how a supportive educator can make all the difference for a student.
As an Educational Therapist, I carry those lessons with me into my own practice. It is such a satisfying feeling to be able to put my trials — and ultimate triumph — with numbers to good use.
