As the school year begins, I’ll be offering a new service to parents called Parent Circles. Parent Circles are designed to offer support to parents of children who struggle with the learning process. In these small group meetings, we will brainstorm solutions together, provide support and accountability and create a community of parents who can inspire each other and, in turn, their families.

If you’re in the Los Angeles area, I would love for you to join me.

Here are some of the things we will work on together:

• Common challenges facing parents with children struggling to learn, i.e. time management, homework, talking with teachers about my child’s learning challenges

• Creating a safe place to connect with other parents who are actively working to support their children who struggle with learning disabilities

• Current research and tools available in the area of learning and education

• Personalized coaching when you need it, so you can try new approaches to overcome specific learning challenges

Best of all, these Circles are completely free. (woohoo!)

Space is limited though, to ensure everyone gets the attention they deserve.

The first Circle is scheduled for Wednesday, August 15th at 7:00 p.m. at the Learning Link office in Sherman Oaks. Then beginning in September, I’ll host these Circles on the second Wednesday of the month from 7:00-9:00 p.m.
