As we begin a new year, I can’t help but be overwhelmed with gratitude.  This past year (and life for that matter) has demonstrated for me just how lucky I am!  For starters, my parents are still thriving, both in their mid-eighties.  I am married to a generous, kind man, who still enjoys teasing the heck out of me, even after almost 15 years together.  We live in one of the greatest states and cities in the world and both have our health.  In addition, I am fortunate enough to work with students who are so eager to learn and as a result work harder than any children I’ve known.  I could go on, but suffice it to say, I am one lucky gal.
